In this blog, I’m explaining how we drastically improved the conversion rate for Armored Doors’ Free Consultation signup page with a few strategic tweaks.
Client: Armored Doors
Objective: Increase visits to the Free Consultation page through internal pages.
Observations:
The Consultation page had only 9 visits in February 2024.
Many visitors landed on the Security Doors page, but there was no call-to-action (CTA) to the Consultation page.
Action Taken:
First, I recognized the highly visited page (Security Doors), then watched heatmap recording and found that users visiting this page were unable to take action, so I placed a call-to-action on the first fold section, linking to the Consultation page.
Results:
After strategically implementing the call-to-action on the highly trafficked Security Doors page, the results were remarkable. The Consultation page, which had previously struggled to gain traction with a mere 9 visits during the entire month of February 2024, experienced a significant surge in traffic. Within the span of just under a month, from March 7th to April 3rd, 2024, the number of visits to the Consultation page to 41.

Here is what we achieved in the quality traffic, you will get the feeling of minimum growth from 9 Visits to 41 Visits and you will question Why I am presenting a small growth. Yes, you are right this is a small change but this is something a business owner and many experts missed an opportunity to deliver what exactly a business owner needs in a business whether it’s a small or big company whether it’s a startup or an enterprise-level company. Everyone is looking for growth in revenue MoM or YoY. This is a discussion of experts in a round table where the CEO/MD/Directors everyone is looking for this number and what we see the Increase in Traffic and again we start planning to reinvest in Marketing. Some of the Owner’s Cabins approved the budget but what will happen to that business owner who is struggling to invest again, what did they do, forcefully we closed the discussion and stopped investing in the marketing. Let me give you a short understanding here. I have seen many times business owners struggling to get the desired results because they are aligned to get more and more traffic with the help of digital marketing strategies. I am not saying this wrong I was also a strong follower of these myths for around 7-8 years and I was implementing the same methods for my clients. The question was What exactly I am doing in this industry, I was winning the hearts of my clients with these strategies.

In the initial state, the website lacked any strategic call-to-action (CTA) prompts that could effectively guide visitors towards the desired conversion goal of the Free Consultation page.
It became evident that without a clear and enticing path to guide users towards the intended conversion funnel, the website was failing to leverage its potential and effectively convert visitors into tangible leads.
After implementation (March 7 – April 3, 2024):
We strategically placed a “Get Your Free Consultation” CTA above-the-fold on the high-traffic Security Doors page. Positioning this compelling offer prominently ensured maximum visibility to capture visitor interest right away. The above-the-fold area commands user attention without scrolling, making it prime real estate. By leveraging this high-visibility spot with a clear CTA, we provided an enticing path to drive conversions while capitalizing on existing traffic flow. This strategic implementation aligned with user behavior principles and visual hierarchy best practices to boost consultation sign-ups effectively.

After adding a CTA, we got 41 visits on the consultation page.
